Yield: 1 wreath

Materials

  • 1 14-inch pancake wreath frame
  • 1 2.5-inch lemon ribbon
  • 1 roll 10-inch deco mesh
  • 1 lemon pick
  • 1 yellow pick
  • 1 white astilbe
  • 1 yellow astilbe
  • 1 yellow baby's breath
  • 1 floral daisy
  • Pine twist ties
  • Thin wire

Instructions

  • Create six bundles. Mkae each bundle by pulling pick branches apart then bundle branches from each pick together - yellow and lemon pick, then daisies on top left, baby's breath on top right, white astilbe on back right and yellow astilbe toward left back. Twist tie the stems below the flowers.
  • Push a pine twist tie through each hole with a corresponding notch on the outside edge of the frame. Wrap each twist tie around its corresponding notch. Twist to secure.
  • Scrunch each mesh piece up the center and pinch the center, then lay the cluster in the center of each twist tie, twisting the arms over the cluster to secure.
  • Lay the first bundle atop the mesh cluster, then twist the twist tie arms to secure the bundle to the frame. Continue adding the next bundle, with the flowers lining up just under the preceding bundle's flowers. For the last bundle, you'll need to slide the stem under the proceeding bundle's florals.
  • Make a bow with two layers. The first layer will have 12-inch tails and two, 6-inch loops on each side. The second layer will have three loops - a 3-inch center loop and one loop on each side, slightly smaller than the first layer's loops. The tails for the second layer will also be slight shorter than the first layers tails. Stack the layers, then wrap a ziptie around the center. Wrap your thin wire around the center also. Secure bow to frame by poking wire through mesh and wrapping it around the frame and twisting to secure.
